Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have been ranting on social media over a recent comment made by the Executive Director of Charterhouse, Theresa Ayoade about their ban.

Theresa Ayoade in a press conference called on the media to rise above Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy and focus on other artistes.

“let us rise above them. Can you as the media help the industry rise above these two? Let’s rise above these two and let the industry breathe and move on. Sarkodie won artiste of the decade and nobody even talked about it.”

“The industry is bigger than these two artistes and that what I want you to go back with. There are lots of young people who need the opportunity so let’s move on,”  She said

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale have descended heavily on Charterhouse and Mrs Theresa Ayoade for instigating the media to ‘quench’ their careers.

Well, David Oscar has also delved into the brouhaha stating that Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale should stop ranting on social media for Charterhouse asking Ghanaians to grow beyond their music.

David Oscar dared the pair to prove to Charterhouse that they can grow beyond private awards by staging an event together the same day Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) will be organised.

David Oscar took to his twitter handle to write:

“@stonebwoyb and @shattawalegh,angry enough at the status quo for asking us to grow beyond ur music den it’s pretty pointless to rant on social media, rather stage a show together on the same day as the #VGMA and show us that both of YOU can grow beyond private awards”
