Good News As Black Sherif Is The Latest Up And Coming Star To Covers Audiomack Platform

The artist-first music streaming platform Audiomack announced today the addition of Ghanian artist Black Sherif to its #UpNow roster.

#UpNow is Audiomack’s emerging artist program that highlights and promotes the next generation of global music stars.

It will also receive amplification across Audiomack’s channels through specialized marketing, editorial, social support, playlisting, custom videos, and more.

The announcement of being an Audiomack #UpNow artist is exciting to me,” Black Sherif said. Audiomack has been a part of my life since I was a teenager. It was the first platform I used to introduce my music to my friends.

In addition to looking professional, it was easier. For me, connecting with my fans and sharing music has been my top priority.”

The Audiomack SVP of Marketing and Brand Strategy is excited to welcome Black Sherif to the #UpNow family. It is amazing to see his growth over the last two years since he uploaded his first video on the platform in 2020. Our team looks forward to working with him to showcase his talent, expand his brand, and introduce his music to a diverse audience.”

Sherif’s lean, but mighty discography has recently crossed the 100 million streams milestone on the platform. He uploaded his first song in August 2020, but broke with the viral hit “First Sermon” in 2021, resulting in the “Second Sermon” in 2022. After Burna Boy jumped on Sherif’s “Second Sermon” remix in December 2021, Sherif’s popularity skyrocketed.

A cutting and poignant story helped “Kwaku The Traveller” garner over 35 million streams on Audiomack, making it the most-streamed song of 2022 so far and Black Sherif’s biggest hit to date.

DJ Khaled also acknowledged the Ghanian artist’s latest single on his Instagram and called it a “big chune.” AfroBeats, hip-hop, R&B, and R&B artists have all been identified and uplifted through Audiomack’s #UpNow program.

Audiomack reaffirmed its commitment to expanding its global presence earlier this summer, launching Audiomack Punjabi, a new vertical focused on amplifying the renowned genre and featuring eclectic playlists featuring the region’s most popular artists.
