‘I don’t go to church’- Quamina MP confesses
Singer Emmanuel Ato Quamina Amonoo, known professionally as Quamina MP has disclosed that he doesn’t go to church.
Speaking to award-winning radio host Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM, the ‘Amanfour Girls’ hitmaker told the host that he is a staunch Christian who doesn’t joke with prayers but attending Sunday service is something he has erased from his itinerary.
He said, “Oh I won’t lie to you it’s been a very long time since I attended a church service. I won’t deceive you I don’t even remember the last time I stepped foot in a church for a Sunday service.
But I’m someone who really trusts in God and my faith in the lord is huge and besides, I don’t joke with my prayers at all”.
The rapper was in the news recently when he composed a song to pay homage to his late father whom he lost through a fatal accident that occurred on the Accra-Akosombo highway a few weeks ago.
The deadlocked artist was traveling with his father when the accident occurred but while he sustained a minor injury, his father was pronounced dead on arrival after he was rushed to the hospital.
The singer who’s yet to fully come to terms with his father’s death has composed a song as a tribute to resonate his memory in his subconscious mind always.
